Hailing from a 90’s generation, I can safely say that I witnessed the time when DD was the only go-to until the recent addition of the number of OTT services all at my disposal! A rapid increase in usage of internet paved the way for OTT service. With the varied addition of both local and international content, the availability of entertainment has now become just a login-away; making it more comfortable than ever before. Isn’t it a blessing, when you get to watch your favourite movies at the comfort of your home? I have been using OTT services for many years now, and it is one of the reasons why, when I got an invite to attend the Tata Sky Telugu Cinema grand launch, I didn’t hesitate for a moment.

The launch of Tata Sky Telugu Cinema, added another feather to its cap as it provides ultimate curated content for its regional Telugu speaking consumers. The launch started with a bash that was followed by a humorous touch by Mr. Aziz Naser, the star of movie The Angrez. The act left the audience laughing out loud. He spilled his magic with timely jokes and funny mimics. The highlight of his performance was enacting variation of Hollywood scenes if ever directed in Hindi, Telugu and Urdu/Deccani languages. Talking about Tata Sky, he added,

‘Khubsurat naam hai Tata Sky. Isko Laga Dala Toh Life Jhinga La La. Nahin toh baingan mein mil gaya la la.’

Right after an informative talk by Mr. Arun Unni, a surprise guest walked in. It is none other than a very known celebrity, Anasuya Bharadwaj. On her interactive note, she mentioned how she loves watching movies at the comfort of home and not having to worry about missing out on few films as she cannot frequently go to movies anymore. She also added, “Movies today are an extension of ones’ knowledge as well as entertainment quotient in life. In fact, Language is no bar for enjoying great content.”
